What is the pricing structure for hiring The Trophy Room at KERB Sports Bar?
The Trophy room can either be hired for a daytime meeting for a flat hire fee of £195, or a minimum spend for general events from £219. Alternatively, our events packages can be purchased which offer the best value for money.
Are there any mandatory deposits or upfront payments required?
The Meeting Room Hire fee must be paid upfront; for minimum spends and package hires we require 50% of the total amount as a deposit, with the remaining 50% at least 7 days' prior to your event.
What is included in the minimum spend for The Trophy Room?
The minimum spend covers all food and drink. The meeting room booking includes teas and coffees on arrival, still and sparkling water and use of the AV. Any pre-ordered or on-the-day purchases of these items will count toward meeting your minimum spend requirement.
What are the capacity limits and timing restrictions for The Trophy Room?
The Trophy Room can accomodate 14 guests boardroom style- we recommend this layout as the best option for this space.
Can we bring our own catering or external vendors for corporate events in the Screenings space?
No, outside catering is not permitted. All food and beverage must be arranged through KERB Sports Bar, as it operates as a food hall and does not allow external vendors or caterers.
What are the payment terms and when is the remaining balance due?
After paying the initial deposit, the remaining minimum spend can be paid prior to the date. The venue does not invoice after the event, so full payment must be settled by the event date.
Are there any mandatory add-ons or fees beyond the minimum spend and deposit?
A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added to all minimum spends and packages. No other mandatory add-ons (like security or AV charges) are specified for The Trophy Room, but all food, drink, and games must be procured in-house and contribute to your minimum spend.
What equipment and features does The Trophy Room offer for corporate bookings?
The space includes a 86" TV screen that can be used for presentations, private viewings, and watch parties. Curtains can be opened for natural light and views over Spitalfields Market. Additional features include self-pour taps, complimentary stationary and a discoball!
Is pre-ordering required for food and drink, and how does it affect our minimum spend?
A pre-order for arrival drinks and food is recommended to help the event flow smoothly. Pre-ordered items count towards your minimum spend, and anything additionally ordered on the day also contributes to this requirement.
Are there any unique restrictions or prohibitions for corporate events in the Screenings space?
Outside catering and external drinks are strictly prohibited. All food and drink must be through KERB. Bringing your own entertainment should be discussed with the venue in advance; no explicit prohibitions are listed, but approval may be needed.
