The Hub is an ideal space for Corporate Events & Gala Dinners, where you can host a large, professional gathering in a space that combines sophistication and creativity. Perfect for networking and celebrations, the space can accommodate up to 200 attendees. You can make the make the most of the Academy by combine the Hub with any of our studios, offering a breakout space or unique creative activities such as painting, ceramics or film screenings to complement your event. The Hub is equipped with a full-scale AV system and lighting options, along with art decorating the walls.

Frequently asked questions

The auditorium accommodates up to 70 people in classroom layout. The Hub can host up to 200 attendees for corporate events and gala dinners. Individual studios can accommodate smaller groups, with the painting and drawing studio suitable for intimate events requiring 3m high ceilings and around 8m length.

The Art Academy is open for viewings Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. You need to contact them directly to book a specific time slot for your tour with their Development Coordinator.

The venue provides a 5-meter wide screen projector with high-quality speakers suitable for screenings. The Hub is equipped with a full-scale AV system and lighting options. Basic power access is available in all spaces.

The venue provides rectangular wooden trestle tables sufficient for up to 50 guests. Tables and chairs are available, though specific quantities vary by space. The Hub offers flexible layout options with full use of all studios as potential breakout spaces.

External catering and decorators are allowed. However, the venue has approved drinks suppliers or charges corkage fees for outside alcohol. Kitchen use is permitted based on the nature of the event, including reheating and plating food on-site.

Art activity sessions with tutors cost £59.50 per person (excluding VAT). Adding alcoholic drinks (beer and white wine) increases the price to £72.50 per person (excluding VAT). Grazing platters with meats and cheeses cost around £15 per person (excluding VAT).

To secure a booking, you pay a 30% holding deposit of the total amount. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the event. The venue requires confirmation of final numbers before issuing the remaining balance invoice.

The venue typically doesn't allow food in the studios, though exceptions may be made depending on the event type. Kitchen access is available for food preparation, reheating, and plating based on the nature of your event.

Setup times vary by event complexity - simple setups may take 4 hours while breakdown can take up to 2 hours. The venue is flexible with timing arrangements and can accommodate extended setup periods when discussed in advance.

The Hub is ideal for large corporate events and gala dinners up to 200 people. The Project Space is recommended for intimate events like proposals. The painting and drawing studio works for events requiring high ceilings and length. Studios can be combined with the Hub for breakout spaces.
