Tucked away at the back of the campus, just off The Hub, you’ll find our biggest studio space…the gloriously literal named Large Studio. What can we say? We like to keep things honest. It’s got all the makings of an artistic playground (paint flecks on the floor and everything) and it’s already moonlighted as a cinema, a stage for intimate talks, and an exhibition gallery. But really, that’s just the beginning. This is your blank canvas, waiting to be transformed into whatever wonderful idea you’ve got brewing. Go on, make it yours.
  • Blank adaptable space
  • Professional gallery standard environment
  • Bankside location near Tate Modern
  • 4k projector with 5-meter screen
  • Direct access to small production kitchen

External catering and decorators are allowed, but the venue has approved drinks suppliers or charges corkage fees for outside alcohol. Food is generally not allowed in studios, though exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Kitchen use is permitted based on the nature of your event.

Yes, you can relay specific aims and objectives for your creative session to both the venue coordinator and your assigned tutor. They can adjust the workshop content accordingly, whether for team bonding, communication skills, or other corporate objectives. You'll be introduced to your tutor closer to the session date.

Beyond the base workshop price of £59.50-£72.50 per person, you may need to budget for grazing platters at £15 per person (excluding VAT) if you want food service. Corkage fees apply if bringing outside alcohol rather than using approved suppliers. All prices exclude VAT which will be added to your final invoice.

The venue offers multiple studio spaces and can accommodate various setups from intimate creative sessions to larger presentations. Specific spaces like the Project Space are recommended for smaller groups, while the auditorium works for classroom-style layouts. Ceiling heights reach 3 meters with lengths around 8 meters in certain studios.

Workshop sessions can run from 12pm-3pm, 2pm-5pm, or other custom timeframes. The venue recommends a minimum 2-3 hour session for optimal results. Setup and breakdown time can be arranged separately, with some events requiring 4+ hours for complex installations while actual workshop time may be much shorter.
