What are the wedding package costs and what's included?

Wedding packages start from £160 per person for 2025 (£176 per person for 2026) and include a 7-hour celebration onboard, arrival Prosecco (1.5 glasses), 3-course seated menu, half bottle of house wine with filtered table water, glass of Prosecco for speeches, and all onboard staffing. A £7,000 charter fee applies, and there's a minimum charge for 60 guests with all prices including VAT and no service charges.

Where do wedding celebrations embark and disembark?

All wedding celebrations start and end at Tower Bridge Quay, located in the shadows of Tower Bridge. The package includes 2 x 15-minute pier slots for guest embarkation and disembarkation at this location.

What are the timing restrictions for wedding celebrations?

Wedding celebrations run for up to 7 hours with the latest finish time at midnight. Suggested timings are 5pm-midnight, and wedding packages apply to weekend hire only.

Which vessels are available for weddings and what are their capacities?

Driftwoods is the primary wedding vessel - a floating glass pavilion that cruises between Westminster and Greenwich. It accommodates up to 190 guests for a dinner dance format, with a minimum charge applying for 60 guests.

What dining options are available for wedding receptions?

Wedding celebrations include a 3-course seated wedding breakfast as standard. The Silver Sturgeon also offers flexibility with sleek seated menus or relaxed roving bowl food and barbecues, allowing guests to explore spacious interiors and two large open decks including a top deck bar.

What drinks are included in wedding packages?

Wedding packages include 1.5 glasses of Prosecco on arrival, half a bottle of house wine per person with filtered table water during the meal, and a glass of Prosecco per person for speeches. All drinks are included in the per-person package price.

Can we bring our own suppliers for weddings?

For dry hire arrangements on Silver Sturgeon, approved external caterers can be brought onboard but must provide all their own crockery, cutlery and staff. Woods Silver Fleet provides inhouse furniture including tables and chairs, and all suppliers must be approved by the venue.

What are the setup and access times for wedding celebrations?

For peak season weddings, caterers have access from 12pm to begin setup. The venue provides a 5-hour live event as standard, with any additional time subject to extra charges. Wedding celebrations on Driftwoods include all setup within the 7-hour package.

Are there additional costs beyond the wedding package price?

The main additional cost is the charter fee of £7,000 (VAT exempt for Driftwoods). For dry hire events on Silver Sturgeon, pier charges of £375 + VAT per 15 minutes apply for embarkation and disembarkation at available piers, plus both charter rate and catering buyout charges.
