Frequently asked questions

The Studio has a 4-hour minimum hire at £300, with 8-hour bookings at £400 and full day hire at £575. No overtime charges apply if you need to run late to complete your event or shoot.

The Arts space is 70 square meters and can accommodate various setups including crescent moon seating for 21 people (two rows of 10 plus one chair at front), interview setups for 8 people, or cleared space for filming with 6 people in shot. The space features white walls, exposed brickwork, and large windows creating a bright, airy atmosphere.

You can add the Library Lounge across the hall for cast, hair & makeup, crew and equipment storage. Both spaces together cost £1,600 for a full day with no overtime charges.

The venue can provide yoga mats, plants for styling, and equipment including stands, lights, poly boards, and sand bags. They can arrange seating setups like crescent moon formations and clear the space completely for filming needs.

Parking is available a few minutes away at £15 per vehicle for all day. There are no height restrictions so Luton vans can be accommodated. You can unload directly at the gate for easy access and setup.

The venue can arrange refreshments at £10 per person. Each space has kitchen and bathroom facilities available for use during your event.

Full payment is required in advance to secure the booking. The venue will issue an invoice once you confirm your booking and provide the necessary email addresses for billing.

Yes, you can arrange to drop off props the evening before your event. The venue provides access codes for entry and has specific instructions for guest arrivals separate from the main access codes.

Yes, the venue regularly hosts audio recording and filming including BBC shoots. Sound recording is not a problem as they accommodate audio shoots on an almost daily basis.

Chocolate Studios is accessible, however there is no parking close to the venue. For events requiring accessible parking, they recommend their sister venue The ARC in Islington as an alternative.
