Space description
The building is a study of contrasts - an historic timber framed barn and brick Victorian stables. The conversion respects the character of the respective interiors. The barn is an exciting lofty space with the layout close to the original internal layout.
Rowley Barn is also an ideal backdrop for your filming requirements. In the 60s the original barn was used as a location in filming of Randall and Hopkirk (deceased) and The Avengers. Also used in the film The Old Curiosity Shop, 1934
More about Rowley Barn
An event venue in Hertfordshire for corporate events, private parties, dinner dances, photographic shoots, film and TV location shoots.
Rowley Barn is an award winning 17th century Grade 2 listed building, which has been sympathetically restored and refurbished to create a modern conversion with plenty of natural light and which maintains many of the original oak beams.
The barn has adjoining landscaped gardens, which make it suitable for inside and outside events and there is space for the addition of a marquee. The barn has disability access and facilities and there is ample free parking.
