The Onyx Bar offers slick design with custom built, under lit onyx clad bar as its centrepiece, creating a contemporary event space with a luxurious twist. With its striking design the room offers a unique backdrop for a wide range of events. From cocktail parties and product launches to corporate event, private parties and wedding receptions. A wall mounted LED screen, mappable LED strips and Funktion One sound system create the ideal atmosphere, whether you're hosting a company social, brand activation or birthday party the Onyx Bar delivers a memorable experience for guests and hosts alike

Frequently asked questions

The venue can accommodate 300-350 people maximum for standing events. For seated events, the Black Studio can seat up to 170 people conference style or up to 300 people standing.

Daily hire fees start at £2,000 + VAT per day (8am-6pm). The Black Studio costs £3,500 + VAT and includes sound system, lighting, LED screen, and wired microphone. The Onyx Bar costs £1,500 + VAT including all staff and security.

The venue includes advanced in-house audio-visual facilities with sound systems, lighting, LED screens, and wired microphones. The Black Studio has its own sound system, lighting, LED screen and wired mic, while the Onyx Bar features a wall-mounted LED screen, mappable LED strips and Funktion One sound system.

The venue does not provide in-house catering but welcomes external caterers. They have catering partners like Pique for light nibbles and can provide working cloakroom facilities.

The venue has an alcohol license and the Black Studio has its own bar where guests can purchase drinks. The Onyx Bar offers drinks tokens for beer/wine/soft drinks at £8.50 inc VAT each.

The venue does not have chairs in-house and furniture needs to be hired externally through suppliers like www.yahire.com. They can provide a small stage for speakers if required.

Standard daily hire is 8am-6pm, but the venue can accommodate extended hours and overnight events. They have handled events running from 8pm Friday to 5am Saturday, though availability varies by date.

The venue does not have outdoor space available. All events are held within the indoor warehouse-style spaces.

Studio Spaces is located at Unit 2, 110 Pennington Street, E1W 2BB in Wapping, East London. It's situated on a traditional cobbled street near Tobacco Dock and is minutes from Wapping, Tower Hill and Shadwell stations.

The venue offers three expansive, adaptable spaces that cater to various event formats from intimate showcases to large-scale presentations. All spaces are interconnected by a central foyer providing perfect flow between areas.
