With a capacity of up to 100 delegates, it can be configured in multiple formats such as theatre, classroom, cabaret, and boardroom styles. The suite is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, including dual or single projection, touchscreen control, and built-in AV systems, making it suitable for presentations and discussions. Additionally, the suite features six breakout rooms, each accommodating up to eight people, perfect for smaller group sessions. The adjacent private dining area allows for catering, enhancing the overall experience for attendees. The bright and spacious atrium connected to the Scott Suite is also available for exhibitions, receptions, and dinners, making it a comprehensive venue for various professional gatherings.

The James Watt Centre is a purpose-built conference facility that can host events for up to 465 delegates, available during evenings, weekends, and vacation periods. The university also has four lecture theatres, accommodating between 99 to 303 attendees, which can be linked to the James Watt I Auditorium. The Post Graduate Centre includes the Cairn Auditorium, a 160-capacity lecture theatre, along with additional lecture theatres and social/exhibition space. The Edinburgh Business School offers the Scott Suite for events of 10 to 100 guests, available year-round. Academic Seminar Rooms provide traditional classrooms for training courses and syndicate room requirements, available during evenings, weekends, and vacation periods. Oriam, Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre, provides sports facilities and meeting spaces for sports teams and corporate guests.
