Heriot-Watt University offers a diverse range of venues suitable for various events, including conferences, workshops, training days, receptions, and corporate functions. The campus, set in 380 acres of beautiful parkland on the edge of Edinburgh, features flexible facilities designed to accommodate between 6 to 465 delegates. The James Watt Centre is a purpose-built conference facility that can host events for up to 465 delegates, available during evenings, weekends, and vacation periods. The university also has four lecture theatres, accommodating between 99 to 303 attendees, which can be linked to the James Watt I Auditorium. The Post Graduate Centre includes the Cairn Auditorium, a 160-capacity lecture theatre, along with additional lecture theatres and social/exhibition space. The Edinburgh Business School offers the Scott Suite for events of 10 to 100 guests, available year-round. Academic Seminar Rooms provide traditional classrooms for training courses and syndicate room requirements, available during evenings, weekends, and vacation periods. Oriam, Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre, provides sports facilities and meeting spaces for sports teams and corporate guests. The campus is rich in nature and art, making it an inviting environment for any event.
