In medieval times, Moorgate was a gateway through the London Wall from the City of London to Moorfields. It was also a place where executions took place!

HISTORY 

Moorgate is a central London neighbourhood just north of the City of London. The name Moorgate derives from the medieval Moor Gate, one of the original gates in the city wall. The area has a long history dating back to Roman times, when it was known as Londinium. In more recent times, Moorgate has become known as a major financial district and home to many large businesses and banks. 

Other points of interest here include the Museum of London, Barbican Centre and world-renowned St Paul's Cathedral. The Court Room, has a rosewood finish and plush furnishings. The space can host conferences and meetings for up to 60 delegates for a theatre style set up.

The Great Hall is perfect for conferences, presentations, meetings, lunches, dinners and AGMs. The space is fully equipped with an automated blackout system, lobby reception area, adjustable lighting, 13ft front projection screen and features a fixed stage and minstrel gallery.
