Venue Review: The Pearson Room

The Pearson Room is situated right in the heart of Canary Wharf. The interiors are inspired by the 1950s, with Hitchcock as a big influence. It’s a large, stylish venue with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over Canada Square, whilst flooding the space with natural light.

Despite its size, the venue has an intimate feel, created with comfy furniture and an impressive bar that is the focal point of the space. It’s casual, yet sophisticated enough for a party or corporate function.

The Pearson Room

The food and drink is seasonally inspired, and served all day. You’ll find classics such as ale-battered fish & chips and apple crumble and a few more unusual creations like grilled hanger steak with kimchi fried rice. Catering for events is also flexible and can be varied to suit all kinds of events and requirements.

The Food

The venue is also hugely versatile, it can be hired exclusively at weekends for up to 350 guests and is fully licensed until 1am, with the opportunity for an extension for all the party animals out there.

The Pearson Room

The venue boasts five other spaces that can be hired for a variety of events. The Semi-Private Dining Room accommodates up to 12 people, making it a great spot for a working lunch, business meetings or an intimate party, with three-course menus on offer. Similarly the Wine Cellar, a beautiful room set against the backdrop of wine cages covering the walls, can host up to 25 people standing, making it more suitable for intimate drinks parties.

The Balcony is a pretty special space, with panoramic views over Canada Square Park and can be hired for up to 70 people. It’s a light, open space and would be a unique spot for a work summer party.

Finally, The Vault, the largest event space within The Pearson Room can hold up to 200 people. It’s a generous, open space and can be used for larger drinks parties or corporate events.

The Vault

The venue isn’t just a restaurant and bar space, the venue can provide a huge range of activities from wine tasting and cocktail making, to more unusual scavenger hunts and climbing wall challenges.

The Pearson Room is ideally located for corporates in the surrounding area or from the City nearby, via the DLR or Jubilee Lines.
