The Ditch is the untouched basement space of the original Grade II listed building. A dozen interconnecting rooms with original features, exposed brickwork and pipes, fireplaces and stoves provide a unique and intimate setting events. With its own secret, speak-easy entrance on Old Street, The Ditch is an exclusive warren of spaces to discover with an atmospheric, distressed aesthetic, hidden in the heard of Shoreditch. It can be transformed to create an immersive setting for product launches, creative fundraising events, conference breakout spaces and receptions.

Once the original Vestry Hall for the Town Hall, the Council Chamber is the most architecturally significant space, featuring an original and highly ornate moulded ceiling, floor to ceiling columns and stained glass windows. Located on the ground floor, The Council Chamber is a flexible space ideal for parties and receptions, conferences, launches and talks and can be hired as a singular room, as a breakout, or complimented by the Mayor's Parlour, the adjacent space.

The option to include the Balcony allows for a full capacity of 772 theatre style, while removable seating on the stalls level maintains the room's versatility and has full production capabilities, making a seamless transition from ornate Victorian hall to suit any event requirements.
