Our back room has a capacity of 65 (seated capacity 35) and is perfect for networking meetings and product launches. It comes with its own exclusive bar which carries a full range of cocktails, craft beers, wines and champagnes. We can cater for your event and offer different slider and canape packages. We have recently hosted companies including Co-op, Boohoo and KPMG. We do not charge a hire fee but do charge a minimum spend.

The Pen and Pencil is a bar/eatery sitting on the corner of Tariff and Hilton Street in Manchester's buzzing Northern Quarter. At The Pen and Pencil, we have a space that lends itself to any occasion. Whether it's a birthday party, business meeting, presentation or hen do, we can help. Our private room can host 65 guests or for a bigger event we also offer the full venue which accommodates up to 200 guests (full venue hire available Sun-Thursday.) We have a number of food and drinks packages available, and we also offer bespoke drinks packages to suit you and your event.
