The 103 gives artists and curators a room with scale and drama to work with. Double-height ceilings and an aerial walkway give installations height and a view from above, while the 124-winch lighting rig can move with a performance or pick out a single piece in the dark. Giant wall-to-wall LED screens carry video art and moving image, and the raw brick and steel make a striking backdrop for exhibitions, live performance, immersive shows and gallery-style launches.

Ministry of Sound has been in Elephant & Castle since 1991, and the same building now hosts events of every kind. Hired as a whole venue, its six connected spaces hold up to 1,550 guests, so an event can move from drinks in The 103 to a keynote or dinner in The Box and on to an after-party without leaving the building. One of the UK’s most advanced sound and lighting systems runs throughout, with an in-house production team on every booking.
