Private dining rooms on level 38 charge £500 + VAT room hire with minimum spends of £2,000 + VAT for afternoon events (12:00-16:00) and £2,500 + VAT for evening events (18:30-23:00). For larger events, Helix & Iris on levels 39-40 charge £11,000 + VAT room hire with £12,000 + VAT minimum spend for evening hire (18:30-23:00), or £2,500 + VAT room hire with £4,500 + VAT minimum spend for breakfast packages (07:30-11:00).
What capacity limits apply to the different dining spaces?
Private dining rooms on level 38 accommodate up to 18 guests with oval table setup or maximum 2 round tables of 10 people each. For standing receptions, the maximum capacity is 300 guests across two floors (levels 39-40). The venue cannot accommodate events requiring more than 300 people.
What are the standard event timings and access arrangements?
Evening events typically run 18:30-23:00 with organizer access from 18:00 and guest arrival from 18:30. Afternoon events run 12:00-16:00 with access from 11:30. The venue can extend until 03:00 with their late license for an additional £1,500 + VAT per hour between 23:00-03:00.
How does the booking and payment process work?
Bookings operate on a first-come, first-served basis requiring 100% deposit payment to confirm. You'll need to provide the contract signatory's name, phone, email, billing address with company name, event date, and preferred payment method (credit card or bank transfer with AMEX surcharge applying). The remaining balance is due 3 months prior to the event.
What catering options and pricing are available?
Three-course menus start from £90 + VAT per person, working lunch is £40 + VAT per person, and continental breakfast with baps is £81.75 + VAT per person. All catering orders including special dietary requirements must be pre-ordered 10 working days prior, with final numbers required 5 working days before the event date.
What are the service charge and additional fee policies?
A discretionary 12.5% service charge applies to food and beverage items and is included in the contract by default, though you can request it be presented at the end of the function instead. Additional fees include £500 + VAT for a mobile bar with private bartender, and £350 + VAT supplement if bringing your own AV equipment.
What audio-visual equipment and entertainment options are included?
Built-in speakers for background music are included throughout the rooms. For additional AV requirements, the venue works with preferred supplier Prelude Entertainment, or you can bring your own AV for a £350 + VAT supplement. The venue can accommodate DJs and has space suitable for entertainment setups.
What catering restrictions and external vendor policies apply?
Searcys provides all food and beverage as the in-house catering company. Dry hire with external catering is available for £18,000 + VAT with 4 hours kitchen access and venue hire from 2pm-10pm, but external caterer details must be provided for approval. All guests must be pre-booked with ID required upon arrival.
Are there any event types or requirements that cannot be accommodated?
The venue cannot accommodate certain event types (specific restrictions not detailed in communications), and some requests are declined without explanation. Events requiring more than 300 guests cannot be hosted, and all bookings must go through the venue's approval process.
What room configurations and setups are available for different group sizes?
Private dining rooms offer oval table setup for up to 18 people or maximum 2 round tables of 10 each.
