The minimum spend varies by timing: £1,000 for 6PM-12AM slots, £1,600 for 6PM-12AM on certain dates, and up to £5,000 for larger events using The Lounge & Kebab Queen combined. A £300 deposit is required for most bookings (£1,000 for larger events), which is refundable if you opt for a cash bar and meet the minimum spend. All minimum spends include VAT, with an additional 12.5% service charge added to all bills.
What are the standard event timings and how flexible are they?
Standard slots run 6PM-12AM or 8:30PM-2AM for late-night events. Timings are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your event needs. The venue can accommodate events running until 2AM for late-night celebrations and parties.
What capacity can the venue accommodate and what spaces are available?
The Lounge can accommodate events for various sizes, with capacity increasing to 200 guests when combined with the Kebab Queen cocktail bar space. The venue offers flexible floor plans that can be customized based on your event requirements and guest count.
How do payments work and when is card authentication required?
Final payments can be made via invoice or on the event night. For larger late-night bookings, card authentication (verification only, not charged) is required seven days prior to your event date. If you choose a cash bar option, the minimum spend can be met through bar sales and your deposit will be refunded the next day if the minimum is reached.
What are the age restrictions and ID requirements for events?
All guests consuming alcohol must be over 18 and present valid ID. Le Bab operates a Check 25 policy across all venues. You must inform the venue at booking time if underage guests will attend your event. Failure to notify about underage attendees may result in event cancellation and deposit forfeiture.
What food and drink packages are available for events?
Options include Bottomless Brunch (£60pp for 3 courses with 2 hours unlimited selected beers and Prosecco), Set Menu (£35pp for 3 courses or £50pp Bubbles package with Prosecco arrival drink and half bottle wine per person), and Party Food Menu featuring canapés, bowl food, and kebabitos served tray-style or buffet-style. Welcome drinks receive a 20% pre-order discount.
When are menus and pricing confirmed, and can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Menus and pricing may see minor changes and are confirmed one month prior to your event. The venue can accommodate all dietary requirements - you must inform them of specific needs at the time of pre-ordering your menu selections.
