Built in the 1920's, The Pavilion looks over what has been described by many as Wales' most beautiful cricket pitch. Now an event space with amazing views of Hawarden Old Castle, it offers 2 rooms and the option to also hire the full access to three acres of cricket pitch. There is a separate bar in the old score hut and brilliant loos. With this space you also have the option to add on camping using our bell tents including access to hot running showers. The perfect space for both an intimate team meeting or dinner as well a larger corporate retreat or team away day.

The famous, storied and beautiful Hawarden Estate is uniquely modern in outlook. it is home to a multi-award-winning farm shop, restaurant and pub as well as some of the best self catering accommodation in the UK. There is a bakery, a medieval castle, a school of craft, wellness and food, a nature trail and lots more. We have many different spaces available for endless different activities from bucolic Walled Garden to the historic cricket pitch. The Estate is just 15 minutes from Chester, 40 minutes from Liverpool and Manchester, and 2.5 hours on the train from London.
