The Walled Garden sits just behind the historic 18th Century Hawarden Castle. It has a large covered terrace which can seat up to 60, a recently renovated Victorian greenhouse, which makes the ideal bar area or small meeting space, as well as a larger fully indoor space ideal for up to 100 guests with large windows overlooking the fig trees. Perfect for team away days, dinners, parties, conferences and retreats. We can also set up bell tents within the orchards for accommodation with full access to luxury showers and toilets. Our other onsite accommodation is also just beyond the walls.

The Hawarden Castle Pavilion and Cricket pitch

Built in the 1920's, The Pavilion looks over what has been described by many as Wales' most beautiful cricket pitch. Now an event space with amazing views of Hawarden Old Castle, it offer 2 rooms perfect for a celebration. The main room can seat up to 20 on one long table or up to 35 on separate tables. The smaller front room which looks on onto the cricket pitch is perfect for arrival drinks. This space has a separate bar in the old score hut, just outside the main building but we can also offer table service if you did not want you guests to go outside.
