With a solid oak partitioning wall, it seamlessly transforms into the Crick and Watson Rooms for more intimate gatherings. The Crick Room seats up to 96 guests, while the Watson Room accommodates 70. Whether hosting a grand celebration or a cozy gathering, the Ballroom offers versatility and sophistication, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.

A modern lecture theatre with breakout area, AV capabilities, and tiered seating for up to 200 guests.

Situated on the first floor of our stunning purpose built conference facility, The Cambridge Building.  The room adjoins the large break out area, suitable for exhibitions and networking, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gardens and parkland.  The lecture theatre accommodates 200 people in the tiered auditorium.  The first 4 rows of seating can be removed to accommodate smaller seminars or conferences.  There is a height adjustable lectern with microphones, full AV capability, disabled access and induction loop.  The perfect location to host any event that needs to make an impact.

Historic 300-seat Victorian debating hall on the ground floor featuring in-built stage, 4 projectors with screens, PA system and Wi-Fi. Perfect for keynote speeches, lectures, seminars and large ceremonies. Theatrical seating arranged in traditional parliamentary style. Built by architect Alfred Waterhouse in 1866.
