The Dorchester Library houses one of the most significant collections of rare books in the world and is a unique setting for your conference, reception, or dinner. In the 17th century the RCP's library was regarded as the country's most important library of learning outside Oxford and Cambridge and provides an enchanting backdrop for modern events. An added benefit of this fantastic space are our rare book displays for guests.

With a juxtaposition of modern and historical styles, our Grade I listed building houses stunning spaces for filming crews seeking spectacular backdrops for their productions. We have hosted some iconic movies and TV series productions and our team is on hand to discuss a wide range of possibilities across our spaces.

The Osler & Osler Rooms are located on the second floor of the building and it has a spectacular view of the Medicinal Garden through a full wall of windows. The impressive double height ceiling makes the environment spacious for large gatherings and a ideal location for private dining, banquets and receptions.

If you are looking for an intimate dining setting steeped in history, the Censors' Room is the perfect space for your needs. Located on the first floor of the building, the room is the oldest room in our building and features original Spanish oak panelling from 1674 and today is a wonderful space for butler-service fine dining event, intimate drinks reception or celebration.
