Players’ Dressing Rooms
A tour of the Ground is an ideal way to experience the magic of Lord’s, and can be incorporated into any of our events. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guides take guests behind the scenes of the Home of Cricket, visiting the Honours Boards in the Players’ Dressing Rooms, the Long Room and the iconic J.P. Morgan Media Centre.
The Writing Room
The elegantly furnished Writing Room is a beautifully proportioned and intimate setting for smaller lunches, dinners or receptions. Hung with famous paintings of cricketing scenes, it offers excellent views of the Ground from the north end of the Pavilion.

The Harris Garden is a charming rose garden laid out on the former site of a lawn tennis court near the entrance to the Pavilion. Constructed in 1934 in memory of the renowned cricketer and politician, Lord Harris, it is a tranquil oasis in the heart of London, and forms a lovely alfresco venue for receptions and summer barbeques.

The Long Room, fronting the Pavilion, is a world-famous sight at Lord’s – international cricket players pass through it on their way onto and off the field of play. A magnificent backdrop for elegant Christmas parties, private dining, lunches and receptions, it has high, ornate ceilings and is fronted by glass. Its walls are lined with fine paintings celebrating the game from the 18th century to the present day. The adjoining Long Room Bar can also be used as a characterful drinks reception area.

The Tavern Meeting Rooms are on the second tier of the Tavern Stand, with magnificent views of the pitch from the balcony. On match days, these ten rooms are the private boxes from which celebrity guests can sip champagne and view the game. Throughout the rest of the year, they are an outstanding space for syndicate rooms or for smaller meetings.

Located next to the Grace Gate, and overlooking the Pavilion and the Harris Garden, the Thomas Lord Suite combines considerable style with ease of use. With natural daylight and open-plan flexibility, it is a large and versatile venue that can suit different sizes of groups and is an ideal setting for birthday parties, Christmas parties, receptions and weddings. The space is also available as a dry hire with selected outside caterers.

Pelham's is at the heart of MCC's sustainability drive, including a rainwater recycling system, green walls and solar and photovoltaic panels. Ideal for meetings, conferences, dinners, receptions and lunches.

Lord's are opening the doors of the Player's Home Dressing Room as a brand new event space at the Home of Cricket. Located within the historic Pavilion, the Dressing Room is a completely unique venue to hire. Overlooking the world-famous pitch and most recently the scene of England's sensational ICC Men's Cricket World Cup victory, the Dressing Room can be transformed into intimate events for up to 12 guests with a six-course menu or receptions for up 40 people catered for by the award-winning in-house team. The Dressing Room presents a truly unique opportunity to host events.
