Dalton Suite
John Dalton was a famous chemist, meteorologist and physicist and the suite named after him is a well-equipped meeting room with a range of technical equipment and breakout areas which makes it suitable for conferences, lectures and training sessions. The Dalton Suite can be hired individually or with the Joule Suite to host conferences and presentations for up to 70 delegates, boardroom meetings for 30 or corporate dinners for 50.
Garratt Suite
The Garratt Suite is a large function room, available to hire for prestigious gala dinners, award receptions, conferences, lectures, Christmas or Summer parties. It is a unique venue, located within the prestigious Museum's Grade II listed Great Western Warehouse. It has a high technical specification and numerous areas which can be utilised and arranged in a myriad of ways to create exceptional bespoke events.
Joule Suite
The Joule Suite is named after the remarkable English physicist James Joule. Located on the second floor of the Museum of Science and Innovation, it is an accessible meeting room with a strong technical specification. If a larger space is required, the Joule Suite can be hired individually or with the Dalton Suite to host conferences and presentations for up to 70 delegates, boardroom meetings for 30 or corporate dinners and networking events for 50.
Lovell Suite
As well as a telescope, the celebrated physicist Bernard Lovell has a meeting room named in his honour at the Museum of Science and Industry. It is located on the second floor and can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people for training sessions, interviews or as a refreshment and breakout area. The room provides a range of equipment to aid presentations and the in-house events team can create bespoke menus to accompany all corporate events.
Revolution Manchester Gallery
Unusual and unique, the Revolution Manchester Gallery is the Museum's newest gallery. It provides an overview of Manchester's rich industrial and scientific heritage with sections dedicated to Transport Revolutions, Computer Age, Engineering, Energy, Cottonopolis and Structure of Matter. There is a stunning digital media wall and photo chandelier which can be utilised to complement and enhance corporate gala dinners, product launches, award ceremonies and presentations within the gallery.
Whitworth Suite
The Whitworth is a state-of-the-art function and meeting room located in the Museum's recently renovated Great Western Warehouse. It boasts an advanced AV system, LCD projector screen, DVD players, speakers, microphones and a dedicated events manager who will ensure all training sessions, interviews, conferences and presentations are faultlessly executed.
