esea Studio
Our RIBA award-winning city-centre home provides a unique setting for your organisation to host events and entertain clients in the surroundings of our world-class contemporary art exhibitions. Located in Manchester's buzzing and creative Northern Quarter district our stylish building is fully accessible and can be flexible to fit your requirements. We have high speed Wi-Fi and are equipped with projectors and built-in sounds systems, as well as any other technical equipment you might need to create a unique experience.
Communal Project Space
With its convenient street access and generous windows, the Communal Project Space is an ideal option for workshops and art activities. This versatile space is available for a limited duration, serving as an intermediary venue between our exhibitions and public programmes. Upcoming availability: November to December 2023. esea contemporary is well situated for events like pop-up shops and product launches. Located within the Northern Quarter of Manchester nearby many other shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Gallery is uniquely suited to all arts hires being that the space is adaptable and suits a wide range of work including painting, sculpture, photography, video, performing arts and installation. The light panels allow the room to be easily adapted to your unique lighting preference. Our largest space at approximately 125sqm the venue is a rectangular space with no recesses. Width 13.7m. Length 8.8m and ceiling height of 3.5m. Located at the back of the building the gallery is accessible by a corridor that runs from the main entrance and past our reception desk.

esea contemporary(Previously named Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art) is the UK's only non-profit art centre specialising in presenting and platforming artists and art practives that identify with and are informed by East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) cultural backgrounds.
Our RIBA award-winning building located in central Manchester’s buzzing Northern Quarter provides the perfect venue for all sorts of events.
We have are able to offer a dedicated meeting room space, a exhibition gallery and two breakout rooms. Whole building hire is also an option.
