The State Room is York's most breath-taking event space. Opening up in front of you as you ascend the grand staircase, it is an expansive space, flanked by portraits of royalty, gold pilasters, and an original minstrel's gallery - available for you to use!
The perfect party space, you have the flexibility to use this room however you wish. With multiple layouts available with our own furniture, this room is perfect for conferences, banqueting, parties, and spectacular marriage celebrations.

York Mansion House is one of York's most spectacular event spaces. Built in 1732 for the Lord Mayor of York, this remarkable home has hosted royalty, and acted as the social hub of the city, bringing people together in decadent celebration.
Following a multi-million pound restoration, the house reopened in 2018, and is now available for you to discover. Across four floors, explore vast halls and cosy historic kitchens, the intimate dining room and the elegant drawing room. All spaces are available for hire, creating a beautiful backdrop for your celebration, wedding, meeting, or banquet.
