Sala Fontana at Museo del 900

Sala Fontana is a unique space dedicated to the works of Lucio Fontana, featuring two significant installations: 'Soffitto spaziale' and 'Struttura al Neon per la IX Triennale di Milano'. The room offers a cohesive environment that immerses visitors in Fontana's artistic vision. 'Soffitto spaziale', originally created for the dining room of the Hotel del Golfo in 1956, was relocated to the Museo del Novecento in 2010. The 'Struttura al Neon' is a stunning display of fluorescent light, composed of hand-bent tubular segments, symbolizing the vibrant life of Milan. The exhibition extends to the mezzanine level, showcasing works from the artist's prolific period between 1951 and 1962.
