What are the hire rates for the Events (Multi Use) Space at The Proud Place?

For business bookings, the rate is £275 per full day, £180 per half day, or £75 per hour. VCSE sector bookings are £200 per full day, £120 per half day, or £30 per hour. LGBTQ+ community groups are charged £25 per hour. Optional extras such as AV equipment, flipcharts, and catering are available but incur a small additional charge.

What is the maximum capacity for the Events (Multi Use) Space?

The maximum capacity for the Multi Use/Events Space is 30 people if seated cabaret style. For theatre style or standing please send us a message and we'd be happy to discuss different options.

What are the standard operating hours and are there surcharges for out-of-hours or weekend bookings?

Our core hours are 9 - 6 however we generally accept bookings anytime from 8am - 9pm. Weekdays are preferred but we are happy to accept weekend bookings following a discussion.

What is the booking process and how is payment handled?

To book, complete the online room booking request form with details about your event, date, and time preferences and a member of the team will reach out with a confirmation.

What equipment or extras can be added to a booking, and how are these charged?

Optional extras include catering, a large TV screen with sound bar, projector and screen, flipchart stand with paper and pens, and microphone with speaker.

What is the cancellation policy for bookings?

Cancellations within 7 days of the booking date will incur a 50% charge of the total booking fee. Cancellations within 2 days or non-attendance will result in a 100% charge. Non-attendance is defined as no one arriving within 45 minutes of the agreed start time.
