Frequently asked questions
What are the room hire costs for wedding ceremonies and receptions at Treehouse Manchester?
Cedar (ceremony room) costs £800 for hire, while Willow 2 (evening reception space) costs £2,000 for hire. Both spaces are located on the Mezzanine level with easy access to the shared Pre Function Area and bar. All rates include VAT and exclude a 5% service charge.
What catering options and pricing are available for wedding celebrations?
A 3-course dinner costs £55 per person, with buffet lunch options from £30 per person. Beverages include sparkling wine or soft drink alternatives at £7.50 per glass, wine from £34 per bottle, beer from £6 per can, and tea/coffee at £3.95 per person per serving. All catering must be provided by the hotel - external catering is not permitted.
What are the capacity limits for Cedar and Willow 2 wedding spaces?
Cedar can accommodate up to 40 guests for intimate ceremonies, while Willow 2 can host up to 100 guests for evening receptions. Both rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with natural daylight and are situated on the Mezzanine level for easy guest flow between spaces.
Are there any restrictions on wedding celebrations, particularly regarding alcohol service?
For certain events like proms, only soft drinks are permitted with no alcohol service allowed. Additional security is mandatory for evening events, though the exact cost is to be confirmed at time of booking. The venue reserves the right to impose alcohol restrictions based on event type and guest demographics.
What audio-visual equipment is included with the wedding venue hire?
Both Cedar and Willow 2 include basic PA system and equipment. Additional AV requirements such as staging, enhanced sound systems, or specialized lighting can be arranged through the venue's third-party suppliers at additional cost, or couples may bring their own AV supplier onsite.
Can couples hold both their ceremony and reception at Treehouse Manchester on the same day?
Yes, couples can book both Cedar for the ceremony (£800) and Willow 2 for the evening reception (£2,000) on the same day. Both spaces are on the same Mezzanine level with shared access to the Pre Function Area and bar, making transitions seamless for guests.
What is the booking process and are dates held while couples make decisions?
The venue does not automatically hold dates while quotes are being considered - couples must confirm their booking to secure their preferred date. Staff will check availability upon request and provide full proposals, but dates remain available to other clients until a confirmed booking is made.
Are there minimum guest requirements or spending minimums for wedding bookings?
While specific minimum guest numbers aren't explicitly stated for weddings, the venue operates minimum number policies for other events (such as 12 guests minimum for day delegate rates). Couples should confirm any minimum requirements during the booking process as these may vary by season and day of the week.
What accommodation options are available for wedding guests?
The hotel offers 224 bedrooms with a range of room types including King rooms and Studio Suites. Accommodation rates start from £165 bed and breakfast, though wedding-specific packages may be available. The venue can accommodate large wedding parties with multiple room bookings.
How far in advance should couples book their wedding at Treehouse Manchester?
Based on correspondence patterns, popular dates book up quickly and the venue regularly has limited availability. Couples should book as early as possible, particularly for weekend dates and peak wedding season months, to secure their preferred date and avoid disappointment.
