Walk into The Box and you’ll understand the reputation. It’s a 285 sq m room built for impact, with a sound system that has made it famous for three decades and screens set into the overhead lighting rig, so light and visuals move as one across the whole ceiling. Seat 300 for an awards ceremony or 170 for a gala dinner, cue the lights for every big moment, and watch from the VIP Lounge balcony above. When the speeches end, clear the floor and let the room do what it does best, with The 103 right next door for drinks.

About this venue
Ministry of Sound has been in Elephant & Castle since 1991, and the same building now hosts events of every kind. Hired as a whole venue, its six connected spaces hold up to 1,550 guests, so an event can move from drinks in The 103 to a keynote or dinner in The Box and on to an after-party without leaving the building. One of the UK’s most advanced sound and lighting systems runs throughout, with an in-house production team on every booking.
