The Tavern Room is situated on ground floor and is easily accessible from the reception area. The room features large windows that allow natural daylight to flood into the room during breakfast meetings, board meetings or smaller conferences. The room can be transformed to drinks reception area or post-dinner party space.

Room hire varies by space and duration - the Queen Elizabeth II room costs £1,150 + VAT for 8:30am-5pm with a mandatory minimum catering spend of £600 + VAT. The Prince Philip room costs £1,400 + VAT for 6pm-11pm with a £1,100 + VAT minimum catering spend. The Tavern room costs £1,050 + VAT for half-day (8:30am-12pm or 1pm-5pm) or £1,350 + VAT for full day (8:30am-5pm).

The Queen Elizabeth II room accommodates up to 30 theatre, 21 cabaret, 22 boardroom, 40 reception, or 30 dining. The Prince Philip room holds up to 56 theatre, 40 cabaret, 30 boardroom, 60 reception, or 50 dining. The Tavern room fits 44 theatre, 32 cabaret, 28 boardroom, 60 reception, or 48 dining arrangements.

Dates can be held for up to two weeks while you decide on the venue. If they need a decision sooner, they will give you 48 hours to either confirm with a signed contract or release the date. Confirmation requires a signed contract within the specified timeframe.

Basic AV equipment is subject to availability and additional charges. Handheld or lapel microphones cost from £68-£75 + VAT each (PA system required). Flipcharts with pens cost from £15 + VAT each. TV screens cost from £200 + VAT each, and wireless uplighters cost from £22-£25 + VAT each (maximum of 16, subject to availability).

No, RSA House does not offer dry hire and does not permit any external catering. All events must use their in-house catering services, and there are mandatory minimum catering spends that must be met or exceeded with their food and beverage items.

Standard events typically run from 8:30am-5pm during weekdays. RSA House is normally closed over weekends, and opening the house on weekends costs approximately £12,000 + VAT. Weekend events require exclusive hire arrangements at significantly higher rates.

Events require detailed screening including organization details, event purpose, attendee information, speakers, security requirements, and press/media plans. The organizer must understand and accept RSA's vision, mission, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments, and confirm the event aligns with these values. Events involving controversial figures, political content, or high-profile attendees require additional scrutiny.
