Jean's Dining Room is a small private room in the cellar of Cloth Cornhill, seating 8 to 12 guests at a single table for private dinners, business meals and client entertaining. Down here the former Simpson's Tavern building shows its oldest fabric, and the room is served by the seasonal British chop-house menus cooked upstairs, with a wine list of more than 200 references to draw on. Dinner is feasting-menu only with a minimum of eight guests, and there is no separate room hire fee. Bank and Monument are minutes away.

About this venue
Historic City of London restaurant, pub and chophouse on the site of the former Simpson's Tavern, off Cornhill near Bank. Wood panelling, fireplaces and booths set the tone for private dining, client entertaining and drinks receptions. Five hireable spaces: a cellar room for 8-12, the Piano Room for 8-14, a 35-guest East Wing, the 70-seat restaurant and a pub bar for 30 standing. Seasonal British menus and a strong wine list.
