One of London's last remaining Livery Halls, Stationers' Hall was completed in 1673. The Hall comprises a suite of characterful, interlinking rooms, along with a Garden, that combine to make the perfect events and conference venue.

The Livery Hall is the largest space and has opulent stained glass windows which give an impressive ambience. The Court Room is fabulously elegant and ideal for breakout sessions.

The Stock Room joins the two larger spaces and is often used for dancing or drinks.

The secluded Garden with its' huge plane tree is an ideal location for a summer event.




Frequently asked questions

Summer packages start at £120 per person for 150 guests. The Christmas package is £138 per person excluding VAT and includes a traditional three-course festive dinner with coffee and mince pies, welcome drinks, half bottle of house wine per person, hire of Main Hall, Court Room and Stock Room from 18:00-23:30, and cash bar facilities.

The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests for seated awards ceremonies or wedding ceremonies. For standing receptions, the maximum capacity is 330 guests. The Main Hall can seat up to 200 for ceremonies and receptions.

Exclusive dry hire of Stationers' Hall is £5,000 plus VAT. For wedding ceremonies on Saturdays, exclusive use is £2,000 plus VAT with hire times from 11:00-13:00. Weekday dry hire times are typically 10:00-18:00.

There is a minimum requirement of 100 guests for events on Thursdays. The venue quotes based on minimum numbers, with Christmas packages quoted for a minimum of 60 guests even if fewer attend.

The venue includes the Main Hall (largest space with stained glass windows for ceremonies up to 200 guests), Court Room (elegant space overlooking the garden with direct access via decorative staircase, ideal for breakouts), Stock Room (connects the larger spaces, often used for dancing or drinks), and the secluded Garden with its large plane tree.

Events requiring setup can access the venue a few hours before the event start time. For conferences, room hire is available the evening before for 4 hours for setup and rehearsal purposes.

The venue works with external caterers who must be reviewed and have their credentials approved by the venue. Clients need to share their preferred caterer details for the venue to review their credentials before approval.

The venue operates on a first-come, first-served basis with many dates booking up quickly. If your preferred date is unavailable, alternative dates are offered. The sales team provides quotes after receiving event details including date, timings, guest numbers, and specific requirements.

The venue is fully accessible following recent renovations and has air cooling throughout. All external caterers must be pre-approved by the venue management. The venue can accommodate civil ceremonies with proper licensing arrangements.

If initial quotes exceed your stated budget, the venue will inform you that their pricing would be above your budget range. They may suggest returning if you have additional scope in your budget, but do not typically negotiate below their standard pricing structure.
