The 1 Bar

The minimum spend varies by event size and type, with examples ranging from £3,000 for 60 people to £18,000 for larger events of 150-200 people. All minimum spends are inclusive of VAT and 12.5% service charge, and contribute towards your food and beverage costs throughout the event.

The venue can accommodate up to 180 people for standing events like drinks receptions, networking events, and parties. The large open-plan space offers flexible layouts that can be adjusted to suit different event flows and requirements.

The venue includes a full AV system with projector and screen, 4 handheld microphones, and a small raised stage area. In-house DJs, live professional singers (2-3 performers), and a magic mirror photo booth are provided at no additional cost for private events.

The venue offers pizzas at £10.70 each (excluding service charge), with the ability to accommodate large orders of 20+ pizzas served in rounds based on guest preferences. Welcome drinks can include prosecco (20 bottles for 100 guests costs £630), wine, beer, and soft drinks, with tokens provided to control costs.

External DJs and musicians are permitted with prior approval and insurance documentation required. Decorations are allowed but you're responsible for removal and liable for any damage costs - invasive decorations that could damage furniture are prohibited, and items like easels must be sourced separately.

The venue will communicate preferred music genres to external DJs and may restrict certain types that could cause issues. As a live music venue, they accommodate House, R&B, and party anthems, but final approval depends on the specific music selection and venue policies.

A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance settled through minimum spend on the night. Food orders like pizzas contribute towards your minimum spend and don't require pre-payment, being added to your final tab along with beverages.
