Event Space at Theatreship

The Spacious exhibition space on Theatreship, a historic cargo ship in London's Docklands, hosts diverse events from western orchestral music to Bengali cinema. It supports global and local artists, offering a vibrant community hub. Easily accessible from South Quay DLR and Canary Wharf Jubilee line, it combines historical charm with a commitment to diversity and community engagement.

Theatreship is a new not-for-profit arts centre on a converted historic cargo ship in Canary Wharf. With 90 vintage red-velvet cinema seats, a cutting-edge A/V system, and an acoustically treated auditorium in the old cargo hold, Theatreship is a characterful location for screenings, away-days, town halls, and office events. There's an onsite fully-licensed bar, and beautiful views over the water of Canary Wharf from the rooftop upper deck. Plus every hire goes directly to supporting a volunteer-led organisation - providing free access to arts events for the people of the Isle of Dogs.
