The main event space in the National Maritime Museum is the 'Great Map'. Set at mezzanine level and spanned by a glass roof, this event space is flooded with natural daylight and is ideal for corporate receptions, award ceremonies and networking. Whether you're looking for a seated gala dinner or a more relaxed standing bowl food affair, this epic space can accommodate up to 580 seated or 1000 standing. With some of the museum's most treasured items on display within the event space, or the option for guests to explore our engaging galleries, this is one event your guests won't forget.

Feast on the magnificence of this truly glorious room. The enormous depth and huge capacity allows you to build-in any visual surprises, to exhibit or simply to dance the night away. Audio visual equipment with a state of the art sound system is available for use during your event. There are large windows in this space allowing for an abundance of natural light. This space can fit 1800 guests while set up in theatre style and 2000 guests when arranged in a standing reception. The Great Hall is ideal for private dinners, Gala dinners, Award ceremonies and more!

The Livery Hall is most popularly used for conferences, standing receptions and workshops. With the doors connecting the Livery Hall and the Great hall, the space is commonly used for welcome drinks, before heading to the Great Hall, for a seated dinner. The space also allows for smaller more intimate dinners, with a removable bar at the far end of the room,

The Courtyard Suite is a versatile space that comprises the Murrell, Barnes & Anderson rooms. It offers individual spaces for breakout rooms and boardroom meetings, or the whole space can be opened up to allow the hosting of larger conferences.
