What are the room hire costs for different spaces and time periods?

Room hire varies by space and duration. Rooms 3&4 (combined) cost £1,960 ex VAT for 8am-4pm. The Hall costs £2,077.20 ex VAT for 6pm-11pm with a 10% discount applied. What are the capacity limits for different room configurations?

The Hall accommodates up to 276 for dining (increased from 240). Rooms 3&4 combined hold 62 in theatre style. The Lecture Theatre seats up to 120 in theatre style. The Marquee can accommodate up to 600 guests for summer events from mid-June to mid-July.

What are the catering costs and minimum spend requirements?

Sample catering costs include arrival tea/coffee/pastries from £8.50 ex VAT per person, classic sandwich lunch from £19.30 ex VAT per person, and dinner packages from £142 ex VAT per person. Some venues have minimum catering spends, such as £2,640 ex VAT for certain bookings.

What are the availability restrictions and operating hours?

The Hall is available Monday-Friday from 6pm onwards, and weekends during day and evening. The venue closes for August summer holidays and reopens September 8th for events. The 2026 Marquee Season runs from 16 June - 9 July 2026, available for only four weeks annually.

What AV equipment is included and what are additional costs?

Standard inclusions vary by room - the Lecture Theatre includes integrated audio, large screen (1562.5H x 2500W), lectern with 15" screen and PC, plus 3 cameras for video conferencing. What is the booking process and provisional hold policy?

The venue operates on a first and second option system - they will contact the client holding first option for updates before placing your event on second option hold. Dry hire of the entire venue for weddings costs £15,000 ex VAT, allowing use of all internal event spaces with your own caterers. What filming and photography restrictions apply?

Filming is usually restricted to weekends only, though exceptions can be made depending on requirements. What are the Christmas and seasonal event options?

Christmas events accommodate from small intimate dinners to receptions for up to 400 guests. The venue offers traditional Christmas themes or can accommodate themed celebrations like 1920s Prohibition style in the Parliament Chamber and Luncheon Room. Christmas lunch events start from £85 ex VAT per person with room hire from £2,094 ex VAT.
