What is the dry hire cost for weddings and what does it include?

Dry hire for weddings is £15,000 ex VAT, which includes use of all internal event spaces with your own caterers. This allows you complete flexibility to bring in your preferred catering team and customize your wedding menu and service style.

What are the capacity limits for wedding ceremonies and receptions?

During marquee season (mid-June to mid-July), the Garden is licensed for wedding ceremonies of up to 150 guests. For receptions, the marquee can accommodate up to 600 guests for standing receptions or seated dinners.

When is the marquee season and what are the hire times?

The marquee season runs from mid-June to mid-July (2026 season runs 16 June - 9 July). Hire is available Monday to Friday from 6pm-11pm, and weekends between 11am-9pm.

What dining capacity does The Hall offer for wedding receptions?

The Hall can accommodate up to 276 guests for dining and is available for hire Monday to Friday from 6pm onwards, and on weekends during both day and evening. It features elegant Georgian style architecture with historic charm.

Do you offer specialized catering for Asian weddings?

Yes, we have an exclusive partnership with Greenleaf Catering specifically for Asian weddings. This ensures an exceptional dining experience with authentic cuisine tailored to cultural traditions and requirements.

What facilities are included with the Garden Marquee?

The marquee includes bifold doors for an indoor/outdoor feel, cloakroom and toilet facilities inside the marquee, a decking area, and exclusive hire of the space. The marquee is set within award-winning 3-acre gardens with views over the Thames.

Is there a current pricing offer for 2026 weddings?

Yes, there is a room hire price freeze for 2026 events, allowing you to book at current rates. This offer ends 31 August 2025 and terms and conditions apply, so early booking is recommended.

What is the booking process and how far in advance should I book?

Popular dates are booking quickly, especially for the marquee season which only runs for four weeks annually. Contact the events team with your preferred date, guest numbers, and requirements for a detailed proposal and availability check.

Can the venue accommodate both ceremony and reception?

Yes, during marquee season the Garden is licensed for ceremonies up to 150 guests, and the marquee can then host your reception for up to 600 guests. The Hall and first floor spaces also provide perfect options for weddings requiring additional space.
