The Mary Read Boat @ No90 is an incredibly unique event venue, perfect for any kind of special occasion (summer parties / weddings/ anniversaries / birthdays etc).
We can accommodate up to 30 guests for a sit-down meal, or up to 80 for a reception.
The flexible layout of the boat makes sure we can easily turn the space into a dancing space after dinner, thanks to its PA system from which you can play your own music and take the party on the next level!

The Astro Deck Terrace costs £150 + VAT hire fee with a £1,200 + 10% service minimum spend for a 5-hour booking (typically 17:00-22:00). The Mary Read Canal Boat has a £360 hire fee with a £3,000 + 10% service minimum spend for 6pm-midnight bookings. All minimum spends include pre-orders and orders made during your event.
What's included in the venue hire for birthday parties and celebrations?
Astro Deck Terrace hire includes semi-private space, dedicated personal server, pre and post-event cleaning, and pool table access. Mary Read Canal Boat hire includes exclusive use of inside cabin and roof terrace, AV equipment (2 CDJs and 1 mixer), pre and post-event cleaning, and your own dedicated bartender. Both spaces come with their own bar facilities.
What are the time restrictions and what happens after 22:00 on the Astro Deck?
The Astro Deck Terrace operates as semi-private space until 22:00, after which it's no longer sectioned off and guests can join the party inside No90 Bar. You don't need to leave the space at 22:00, but the private nature of your booking ends at that time. The Mary Read Canal Boat can be hired until midnight.
What catering and bar options are available for private parties?
The venue offers tailored catering including build-your-own buffets or seated menus crafted by their experienced kitchen team, adapting to both casual and formal event styles.
