For those looking to enhance their experience, the option to hire privately the Gallery, allowing the guests to explore the latest exhibition while enjoying a Drinks reception. Our experts will be hands-on to talk with your guests about the exhibition and help them to engage in thought-provoking topics. Frequently asked questions

Evening hire for the Theatre & Atrium is £2,500.00+VAT based on hire from 18:30-22:30. Half day hire (13:00-17:00) is also £2,500.00+VAT. Full day hire rates from 08:30-17:00 are £3,500.00+VAT for extended access periods.

The Theatre & Atrium requires a minimum catering spend of £20.00+VAT per person with a 60-person minimum (£1,200+VAT total minimum). Tea/coffee costs £2.99+VAT per person per break, light lunch from £24.00+VAT per person, and various snacks range from £2.00-£2.50+VAT per person.

The Theatre & Atrium can accommodate up to 120 people. The space includes the main Theatre with an adjoining Atrium specifically designed for catering and refreshment breaks.

The Theatre hire includes screen and projector, lectern with comfort monitor and lectern microphone, PA system and speakers, one roving microphone, electronic pointer/clicker, ability to colour wash the space, and an AV technician as standard. Additional charges apply for event filming or livestreaming.

For short lead bookings, confirmation is required by end of play the following day with full pre-payment required by close of play within a few days of confirmation. Standard bookings may have different payment schedules.

The Studio & Balcony is available for smaller events, accommodating up to 50 people in cabaret layout. Day Delegate Rate is £79.00+VAT per person (minimum 40 people) or room hire at £3,000.00+VAT plus minimum catering spend of £1,600.00+VAT for 08:30-17:00 hire.

The venue operates 7 days a week. Standard half-day slots are typically 13:00-17:00, though exceptions can be made (such as 15:30-18:30). Evening events typically run 18:30-22:30, with extended access available from 14:30 for setup.

Theatre & Atrium hire includes event management, security, and an AV technician as standard. The Studio & Balcony Day Delegate Rate includes security, event management, full AV equipment, and onsite technician.

Exhibition access depends on timing and current displays. During some periods there may be no exhibitions as the venue prepares for upcoming exhibits. When exhibitions are running, access can potentially be arranged for guests.

Setup access is typically available from 14:30 for evening events. The venue can accommodate extended access periods, with some events having access from as early as 08:30 for full-day bookings.
