Ravens Ait Island requires a minimum of 45 guests for all business events due to the size of the venue rooms. Events with fewer than 45 guests cannot be accommodated on the island.

What does the Day Delegate Rate (DDR) package include and how much does it cost?

The DDR package costs £75 per guest and includes 9 hours of venue hire for the Thames Suite & Patio, Reception breakout space, finger food (DDR Menu 1), projector screen, 1 flip chart, water, and tea & coffee served 3 times daily with pastries, biscuits and cakes. An upgrade to DDR Menu 2 is available for an additional £15 per person.

How does transportation to and from the island work for business events?

Ferry collection and drop-off is complimentary for all business events. The venue operates a shuttle-style service with 2 boats running back and forth continuously, with the journey taking only 30-45 seconds. However, the venue cannot organize coach or shuttle services between hotels and the island.

What are the venue's operating hours and music restrictions for corporate events?

Music is allowed until 11:45PM and all guests must vacate the island by midnight. These are firm house rules that apply to all events regardless of type or size.

What deposit is required to secure a business event booking?

A 50% deposit is required to secure any event date that falls within 6 months of booking. All dates are secured on a first-come, first-served basis, and the venue cannot hold dates during consultation periods.

What breakout spaces are available for conferences and away days?

The venue offers multiple breakout areas including the Patio, Britannia Room, Terrace, and Reception area. These spaces can accommodate smaller groups for workshops or breakout sessions during larger corporate events.

Can external vendors and equipment be brought to the island for business events?

Yes, outside DJ equipment, decor, and vendors are allowed on the island. The venue is flexible with external suppliers and can accommodate various production needs for corporate events.

What bar and drinks options are available for corporate events?

The venue offers a 10% discount on all pre-ordered drinks for corporate events. Bar packages can be arranged as either a bar tab or pre-order system, with typical corporate packages including options for wine, beer, and soft drinks.

Is the island exclusively available for corporate bookings?

Yes, when you book Ravens Ait Island for your corporate event, the entire island is exclusively yours for the day. There will be no other events happening simultaneously, ensuring complete privacy and focus for your business activities.

What accommodation options are available for multi-day corporate events?

While Ravens Ait Island doesn't have on-site accommodation, they work with nearby partner hotels including Hampton Suites, Warren House Hotel, and Crowne Plaza Surbiton. Guests need to arrange their own transportation between the hotel and island as the venue cannot provide shuttle services.
