Demonstration Area at Austin Central Library

The Demonstration Area is a versatile space located in the main atrium of the Austin Central Library, designed primarily for cooking demonstrations but also suitable for various events such as speaker sessions, panels, and other presentations. It features bench-style seating made of white oak and terrazzo, accommodating up to 80 guests, including four wheelchair-accessible seats. The area is open to the second floor above and faces large floor-to-ceiling windows equipped with shades, providing a bright and inviting atmosphere. The space includes a mobile LED display and a cooking demo cart with a small kitchen, making it ideal for culinary events and demonstrations. Reservation times are flexible, allowing events from 6 AM to midnight, with a maximum event duration of two hours for $400, and $200 for each additional hour.
