Lower Deck
Whether it is an intimate dinner for two, or a large group booking, the Battersea Barge offers a unique dining experience, with great view of the Thames. We welcome celebrations of all kinds, including birthday parties, Christmas parties, social gatherings, drinks parties, graduation or anniversary celebrations, cocktail parties and more. We will be happy to discuss your catering requirements with our chefs and propose a solution that is right for your guests and for your budget. We are open daily, from midday until 11pm, serving delicious food and a wide range of drinks.
Whole Boat
The Battersea Barge offers a distinctive riverside setting for weddings with real character and charm. Moored on the Thames and framed by views of the iconic Battersea Power Station, the barge’s three decks bring together intimate indoor spaces and open-air terraces. We can host up to 150 guests across the whole boat, with the Lower Deck seating up to 75 for dining. The Middle and Upper Decks provide inviting outdoor areas for drinks, photos, and moments by the water. For relaxed gatherings, lively celebrations or just something that’s really personal to you.

The East Deck is a partially covered outdoor space with open views across the river — a bright, versatile area ideal for private parties and relaxed gatherings. It can accommodate 25+ guests, with tables and chairs that can be rearranged or removed to create more space for standing and socialising. Sheltered enough for year-round use yet open to the elements, the East Deck offers a genuine connection to the river and the city beyond. Whether for a summer celebration, an evening drinks reception, or a smaller private event, it’s a flexible setting with an easy, welcoming atmosphere.

The Terrace at the Battersea Barge is a laid-back, open-air space that captures the easy charm of being on the river. With sweeping views of the Thames and the London skyline, it’s a great spot for socialising, celebrating, or enjoying the riverside atmosphere. The Terrace offers a flexible layout — tables and chairs can be rearranged to create more standing space — making it ideal for anything from casual drinks to lively gatherings. Partially covered, it offers a smooth flow between indoors and out, so your event can make the most of the setting in any weather.

The Indoor Middle Deck offers a perfect balance between the charm of a vintage vessel and the comfort of a modern event space. With large windows overlooking the Thames, it provides a light-filled setting that feels both cosy and open and is ideal for events of all kinds. It can comfortably be used for 40 guests but as guests are welcome to spread towards the bar, larger numbers also work. With its fully stocked bar and flexible seating, it’s perfectly suited for everything from parties to corporate gatherings. It's the beating heart of the Battersea Barge.

The newly refurbished Battersea Barge is a unique venue on the Thames, docked between Chelsea and Vauxhall Bridge, with views of the iconic Battersea Power Station.
With a bar, restaurant, and stage it’s the perfect venue for weddings (we are licensed), parties & shows/performances.
It also has a spacious interior, with upper, middle and lower decks and a whole boat capacity of 150. The lower deck seats 75.
The Barge is in a great location, just several minutes’ walk from Vauxhall tube and newly opened Battersea Power & Nine Elms tube stations.
