Lower Deck
Whether it is an intimate dinner for two, or a large group booking, the Battersea Barge offers a unique dining experience, with great view of the Thames. We welcome celebrations of all kinds, including birthday parties, Christmas parties, social gatherings, drinks parties, graduation or anniversary celebrations, cocktail parties and more. We will be happy to discuss your catering requirements with our chefs and propose a solution that is right for your guests and for your budget. We are open daily, from midday until 11pm, serving delicious food and a wide range of drinks.
Whole Boat
The Battersea Barge is suitable for all kinds of occasions and its versatility makes it ideal for weddings, parties and other celebrations. If you hire the whole boat, you and your guests can use all the different areas of the boat and make it an occasion to remember. This includes an inside lower deck with stage deck and dancefloor; mid deck with the bar, covered terrace and outside east deck; and large upper deck with amazing views over the river. We always receive amazing feedback from people holding their events with us; come and see for yourself.
See venuePartially Covered Outdoor East Deck
Our outdoor partially covered East Deck can be hired privately for 25+ guests. The hire fee for the East Deck is £150. This can be waived if you commit to a £1,000 minimum spend (£500 off-peak). More can be invited as you can spread out to the rest of the boat, and tables and chars can be cleared from the space to create more standing space. The East Deck has great views over the river and provides that ideal outside/covered combination so suited for a special occasion.

The Outdoor Terrace hire fee is £250 for a 5hr slot (1.30-6.30/7pm or 7-11pm [midnight Friday & Saturday, although outside closes at 11]). This can be waived if you commit to a £1,600 minimum spend (£800 off-peak). More can be invited as you can spread out to the rest of the boat and tables can be cleared from the space to create extra room. The Terrace can also be hired in conjunction with the East Deck for 50+ guests.

The Indoor Middle Deck offers a perfect balance between the charm of a vintage vessel and the comfort of a modern event space. With large windows overlooking the Thames, it provides a light-filled setting that feels both cosy and open and is ideal for events of all kinds. It can comfortably be used for 40 guests but as guests are welcome to spread towards the bar, larger numbers also work. With its fully stocked bar and flexible seating, it’s perfectly suited for everything from parties to corporate gatherings. It's the beating heart of the Battersea Barge.

The newly refurbished Battersea Barge is a unique venue on the Thames, docked between Chelsea and Vauxhall Bridge, with views of the iconic Battersea Power Station.
With a bar, restaurant, and stage it’s the perfect venue for weddings (we are licensed), parties & shows/performances.
It also has a spacious interior, with upper, middle and lower decks and a whole boat capacity of 150. The lower deck seats 75.
The Barge is in a great location, just several minutes’ walk from Vauxhall tube and newly opened Battersea Power & Nine Elms tube stations.
