The Bistro
At the heart of the Bluecoat is the Bistro, where high ceilings and historic features are complimented by contemporary design twists. With a fully equipped bar and lounge area, the space is ideal for corporate dinners & evening receptions as well as networking events.
Performance Space
Located in the new art wing, the Performance Space is our largest space and is used for many of our contemporary visual art events and performances, which means it is well equipped to host almost any event. Our AV equipment and in-house technician will ensure that everything from lighting to acoustics is suited to your event.

The Library is home to much of our building's 300 year old history, archiving our rich past. This cosy, intimate room can host up to 20 people and is perfect for meetings or small gatherings and is used in both a corporate and informat context. Light and airy with large, Georgian windows overlooking the front courtyard.

Bluecoat is Liverpool's centre for contemporary arts, the oldest in the UK. Our landmark building, located in the heart of city centre. Is a home to a year-around programme of exhibitions, music, dance, literature, live art and heritage events.
Bluecoat also provides a base for around thirty artists, collectives, small art organizations and crafts people. We receives around 700,000 visits annually from a diverse range of visitors.
