With floor to ceiling windows overlooking Centenary Square, The Mezzanine provides the perfect space for exhibitions and catering, networking or drinks receptions. The newly refurbished space can accommodate up to 150 people standing and up to 10 exhibition stands. Please note we are a working theatre and this area can get used during intervals if we have a performance. We will be able to inform you if there will be a performance in advance.
The Door
Capacity: Up to 140 Reception guests

The Door is the smallest of our 3 theatres, it can accommodate up to 140 theatre-style, 100 on rounds, and 80 cabaret. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a built-in PA system, adjustable lighting, and premium Wi-Fi. Studio Theatre

The Studio is our highly adaptable theatre space and comes equipped with state of the art lighting, sound equipment and 16 x 9ft cinema screen. In an auditorium layout the space can hold up to 300 guests or the seats retract and can hold up to 200 cabaret style (10 per table).
The Meeting Rooms
Capacity: Up to 200 Theatre guests

With fantastic natural daylight and views over Centenary Square this versatile space can accommodate up to 200 people in a theatre layout, 120 in cabaret or can be split into three separate rooms holding 70 people in a theatre layout or 30 people in a cabaret layout. Each Meeting Room is fully air-conditioned and the dividing walls are soundproofed to ensure privacy.

The House is the largest of our 3 theatres, it can accommodate up to 800 theatre style or up to 240 for dinner on the main stage. Shakespeare Memorial Room

This historic room was created for the city’s Victorian library by John Henry Chamberlain in 1882. Following restoration by local craftsmen, it now commands an impressive position at the very top of the Library of Birmingham. It offers a very special setting for parties of up to 40 people or exclusive dining (up to 20 people) and drinks receptions (up to 45 people).
