Great Hall at Metropolitan Club of New York

The Great Hall is the heart of the Metropolitan Club, featuring stunning walls of variegated marble and a magnificent forty-five foot high gold coffered ceiling. A Venetian lantern, originally purchased from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, hangs from the center of the ornate ceiling. The space is framed by a grand double staircase on the North side, which leads to five opalescent stained glass windows, and faces an immense marble fireplace to the South. This elegant hall serves as a remarkable pre-function or reception area, accommodating up to 250 guests, making it ideal for various events such as weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
