The Casa de Cultura Moderna is a prominent cultural center located in the heart of Mexico City, serving as a hub for community activities and artistic expression. Opened in 1988, it has evolved into a vibrant space that offers a variety of courses including ballroom dance, ballet for children, Middle-Eastern dancing, drawing, painting, and jazz for kids. Additionally, it functions as a fitness center with classes in yoga, karate, and activities for seniors. A significant remodeling in 2018 expanded the venue to three floors, adding an auditorium for 68 spectators, multipurpose rooms, computer rooms, and a roof garden. The center is well-known for its gallery and exhibition spaces, attracting young musicians and artists, making it a lively spot for cultural events. Its location near Parque Moderna and Mercado La Moderna enhances its accessibility and appeal, drawing visitors from both the local neighborhood and beyond.
