The 103 is the heart of Ministry of Sound, a double-height room with an aerial walkway overhead, giant wall-to-wall LED screens and a 12-metre bar that keeps drinks moving for a crowd. Above it hangs a 124-winch lighting rig, one of the largest in the country, which can rise, fall and reshape the room in a single cue. Every other space opens off it, so guests arrive here for drinks before moving through to The Box, then come back to a room transformed for the after-party.

Ministry of Sound has been in Elephant & Castle since 1991, and the same building now hosts events of every kind. Hired as a whole venue, its six connected spaces hold up to 1,550 guests, so an event can move from drinks in The 103 to a keynote or dinner in The Box and on to an after-party without leaving the building. One of the UK’s most advanced sound and lighting systems runs throughout, with an in-house production team on every booking.
