Creative staging over the fixed seating, transforms the Grand Temple into a party palace for up to 1,100 guests or dinner/dance for 450. A popular choice for large Christmas parties and receptions, with additional spaces to create chill out lounges and licensed until 2am, guests can party late into the night.

The Grand Temple costs £20,000 + VAT per day from 7am-11pm, with a late license available until 2am for £750 per hour. This includes security and cleaning for the live event, plus access to The Tower Doors, Cloakroom, The Vestibules, and The Long Room. Rig/de-rig days are available at 50% discount on venue hire.

The Grand Temple accommodates 900 theatre-style with catering, 280 cabaret, 600 reception, or 450 seated dinner. With creative staging over the fixed seating, it can transform into a party space for up to 1,100 guests. The venue can accommodate a maximum of 1,300 guests for standing events across multiple rooms.

Standard access is 7am-11pm, with late license available until 2am for an additional £750 per hour. The venue does not allow concerts due to licensing terms, though musical theatre productions may be considered. December availability is limited due to Christmas installations and programming.

The venue works exclusively with Moving Venue as their catering partner - you cannot bring external caterers. Moving Venue provides everything from elegant drinks receptions to full three-course dinners and can create tailored menus to complement your event format and requirements.

The Grand Temple has no built-in AV equipment, so everything must be brought in externally. The venue has rigging points for weight up to 28 tonnes and can accommodate full production setups including staging, screens, lighting, and sound systems through their recommended suppliers.

Hiring The Grand Temple includes access to The Tower Doors for exclusive red carpet entrance, the Grade II listed cloakroom, The Vestibules (which can be divided into three areas using decorative doors), and The Long Room. This creates a complete guest journey from arrival through to the main event space.

The venue does not allow concerts due to licensing restrictions, though musical theatre productions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Events requiring over 1,300 guests cannot be accommodated, and the venue may decline events that don't meet their standards or venue requirements.

December dates are largely unavailable due to Christmas programming and installations.
