Stanley Stephenson Lounge at Selhurst Park Stadium

The Stanley Stephenson Lounge costs £1,200 + VAT for day hire. This includes exclusive use for 6-8 hours (all events must end at 12am), bespoke room setup, dedicated Event Manager on the day, security/hospitality/bar staff, cleaning, complimentary WiFi, onsite parking, and basic linen and table numbers.

The Stanley Stephenson Lounge accommodates up to 200 people and can be set up theatre-style for conferences. However, the space is located on the 2nd floor with no lifts or step-free entrances, making it inaccessible for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.

External catering is strictly prohibited - all food and beverage must be provided by Selhurst Park's in-house catering team. External DJs are permitted but must provide public liability insurance and PAT testing documentation 7 days prior to the event.

The room includes LCD mounted TV screens for displaying slideshows or graphics (PowerPoint or .mov format), integrated PA system, and can provide LCD projector and screen. All AV requirements are complimentary, and artwork must be submitted 2 business days prior to the event.

Basic linen and table numbers are included in the hire fee. External decorators are allowed but must provide PAT testing and public liability documentation for electrical equipment. No decorations can be tacked onto walls, and complimentary early access for setup is available subject to availability.

All catering is handled in-house with various menus and price points available. Buffets are open for maximum 2 hours, and leftover food cannot be taken home due to food safety policy. The space has a private bar fully staffed by the events team.

Private events cannot be hosted on dates when Crystal Palace has home matches. Fixture lists are typically released in advance, and the venue will confirm availability once fixtures are known. This particularly affects weekend bookings during football season.

Three festive packages are available: 'Dress to Impress' joiner party (£65 + VAT per person, fixed date 13th December), 'Festive Fizz & Bowl Food' private party (£70 + VAT per person), and 'A Crystal Christmas' private party (£75 + VAT per person). All include 6pm-midnight access, festive menu, entertainment, and complimentary parking.

The venue has shown flexibility in meeting specific budgets, particularly for student groups or smaller organizations. They have accommodated requests to reduce package prices from £65 to £55 per person in certain circumstances, though this appears to be evaluated case-by-case.
