Hire Space Professional was born in 2016 and I was among the first Account Managers to launch this brand new premium service to our valued Hire Space clients.
At this point, it was unimaginable how much the service and the Hire Space Professional client base would develop. and that within a year we would be extending our venue sourcing expertise into the international events arena.
We were always ambitious with Hire Space Professional, but also slightly apprehensive about offering our venue finding services outside of the UK. It was so important to us to maintain the high standard of service our clients have come to expect from their Account Managers.
Our first international enquiry came from one of our favourite clients from the finance industry; finding a drinks reception venue in Paris for 200 people. The team was immediately throwing in ideas for venues that could fit the brief, so we decided to go for it!

It took us more than our usual 24hr turnaround time, but we did it. We reached out to our account managers from various hotel groups, as they wanted a 5* location in the city centre, and within two days we had provided them with a list of options with their availabilities checked and bespoke costings.
The rest is history!

Since then we've booked venues in Amsterdam, Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Zurich, Copenhagen, Barcelona, and had enquiries for many other European destinations. We've even ventured to Buenos Aires and Brazil where we hunted down the perfect venues for our clients.
After a year of booking venues internationally, we're more confident than ever to start spreading the word: in fact, we welcome international requests!

The team is increasing their knowledge of international destinations every day. We have venues from abroad coming to our offices to present to us, the team are attending international exhibitions, we even have a few invitations lined up to visit venues in Edinburgh, Barcelona and Brussels in the coming months.
