Discover More at the Royal Museums Greenwich

Royal Museums Greenwich is more than just one venue. It is home to the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the iconic sailing ship Cutty Sark, the National Maritime Museum, the Peter Harrison Planetarium, and the Queen’s House art gallery. Heralded as a top-10 UK attraction, they all sit within easy walking distance of each other on a UNESCO World Heritage site. Not only this, all five attractions at Royal Museums Greenwich are available to hire as stunning venues.

All venues are ideal for many different kinds of events, including gala dinners, award ceremonies, receptions, weddings, as well as product launches, daytime meetings, and private dining. All situated on stunning parkland, these venues are truly one of a kind.

The National Maritime Museum is a water world with a difference; spanning a stunning glass roof, this venue is breathtaking. Guests can enjoy the juxtaposition of 19th century grandeur, combined with modern architecture - all whilst being able to see the starry night sky of London above them. For pre dinner drinks, the Square is perfect: an intimate space that opens to one of the many galleries in the museum, so guests can wander through and enjoy. For larger events The Great Map is a light and modern space, with a newly installed lighting and audio rig.

National Maritime Museum

Entertaining at Cutty Sark is an entirely unique experience. Set sail and go back in time, as you and your guests enjoy your time on this iconic ship. The ship boasts four different spaces, and comes with stunning riverside views of the Thames. Indeed, guests can watch an epic sunset over the London skyline on the Weather Deck, before going through to other spaces - such as the Tween Deck, or the Master’s Saloon.

Cutty Sark

The Queen’s House was traditionally designed as a place of celebration, so why not host your next celebratory event here? It is the ideal place for luxury; set in Greenwich Park, it has spectacular views of Canary Wharf and the Thames. The Great Hall is the ultimate place to host a dining experience - with the iconic Tulip Stairs, guests will be in awe of the beautiful interior. The Orangery and South Parlours provide a stylish location for receptions, whilst the Great Hall is an excellent venue to dance the night away.

With unbeatable views, the Royal Observatory is an unforgettable setting for evening events. The Meridian Courtyard is an excellent way to enjoy sunset drinks. Summer parties are always welcomed here, as guests can relax and unwind, whilst standing on the Prime Meridian of the world. Or choose to host your event in Flamsteed House; with an interior designed by Sir Christopher Wren, it is great for high profile dinners and events.

Planetarium

Soar into Space with The Peter Harrison Planetarium. It is an awe-inspiring backdrop for corporate entertaining and product launches. The galleries are a captivating delight, and with each booking guests are treated to a planetarium show. From stargazing under the night sky of London, to learning about the birth of a star, the Planetarium will be a night guests won’t want to forget.

All five venues at Royal Museums Greenwich are uniquely captivating. Host the event of your wildest dreams, with a stunning backdrop to complement your day or night.
